Actress Anjana Sukhani, known for her roles in movies like Good Newwz, Golmaal Returns, and De Taali, recently opened up about her time on the set of Nikkhil Advani’s ensemble film Salaam-E-Ishq. She described her experience as quite unpleasant, mentioning that Nikkhil was 'mean and harsh' towards her. Anjana also shared that she was caught off guard when she found out about her kissing scene with Anil Kapoor, saying it made her feel like crying when she learned about it on set. Anjana Sukhani remembers her time filming Salaam-E-Ishq

In a chat with Bollywood Hungama, Anjana shared her experience of being unexpectedly asked to do a kissing scene with Anil Kapoor. She mentioned that she found out about the scene just moments before stepping onto the set. She expressed, "I wasn’t informed about the kiss until we were actually walking onto the set. That kind of thing wouldn’t happen to a star kid, right?"

When asked why she didn’t bring it up when she noticed it was missing from the script, Anjana explained that she felt too nervous and overwhelmed to question it. She said, "I didn’t have anyone around to discuss it with. I was just told this is what you need to do." She added, "As an actor, I get that if the script calls for it, you have to be open to it. But at least give me a heads-up. I need to mentally prepare myself. It’s still a form of intimacy, and I think I’ve carried that experience with me for a long time."

Anjana Sukhani felt like breaking down in tears

The actress opened up about her emotional experience on set, expressing her desire to cry and highlighting the 'unfair treatment' she faced. "If I had known half an hour or an hour in advance what we were about to do, I could have prepared myself. But when it hits you out of nowhere, it’s tough. I felt lost and alone because I didn’t have any friends around," she shared.

She also pondered what might have happened if she had refused to go along with it. The actress mentioned that she could have been kicked off the film. "I just want to say, don’t assume I’ll be fine with everything. Even if I might be okay, I need time to process it, and that wasn’t given to me. It feels unfair because they wouldn’t treat a star kid like that. They think they can push me around since I don’t have any connections."
