As part of the promotional activities, one of the film's leading actresses, Anjali, engaged in a conversation with the media. Below are some highlights:
Q. You have two films releasing this Sankranthi. How do you feel about it?
Anjali: I am extremely happy. I recently learned about the release of my other film as well. Sankranthi is a significant time for any actor. Additionally, I had the opportunity to work with prominent stars like Ram Charan and Vishal in these projects. Both films have received a positive response, and I am eager for audiences to experience them.
Q. Can you share more about your character in the film?
Anjali: When the story was presented to me, I was informed that my character's name was Parvati. Interestingly, my mother's name is Parvati Devi. Sometimes, we find connections in such details, don't we? Game Changer holds a special place in my career, and I dedicated considerable effort to it. This connection adds to its significance for me.
Q. What type of effort did you invest in the film?
Anjali: I cannot disclose specific details, as Shankar sir mentioned there is a surprise element in the movie. However, I can say that my character was quite demanding, and it required a lot from me during certain shooting days. At times, I found myself bringing the character home with me. The impact was profound. Throughout my 18-year career, Parvati from Game Changer will remain special for numerous reasons.
Q. rumours are suggesting that you might receive a National Award this year for your performance in this film. What challenges did you encounter during the production?
Anjali: I appreciate the kind words. I had hoped to be recognized for my performance, and it brings me joy to know that audiences share that sentiment. As for the challenges, there were numerous obstacles I faced while filming. Typically, we draw from our own experiences in our acting. However, the character of Parvati presents various complexities. Some of the situations she endures are not ones I have personally faced, which required significant effort on my part to portray authentically.
Q. There has been considerable discussion regarding Appanna's character in the film. How does your character's journey intertwine with his?
Anjali: I portray Appanna's wife in the film, and their relationship is depicted with great depth. Additionally, there are numerous unexpected elements concerning these characters that are not revealed in the trailer and are best experienced in the theatre. I can affirm that the connection between Appanna and Parvati serves as the film's emotional foundation.
Q. Your on-screen pairing appears quite appealing in the trailer. What was your experience working with Charan, and how do you anticipate the scenes featuring both of you will unfold?
Anjali: Charan is an exceptional co-star. I believe that the positive energy from my co-star inspires me to perform at my best, and I strive to reciprocate that energy. Charan embodies this quality; he is reserved yet possesses a kind heart. He shows respect to everyone on set, from the lighting crew to the director.
Q. What was your reaction upon receiving the opportunity to collaborate with Ram Charan?
Anjali: There are numerous reasons for my excitement about this project. Primarily, it is a film directed by Shankar sir. This marks my first collaboration with Charan, and I am thrilled to work once again under the production of Dil Raju Garu. We have always aspired to create a compelling on-screen pairing, and it is gratifying to see that our chemistry is being well-received.
Q. Twelve years ago, you had a Sankranthi release under the same banner as Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. How do you feel about returning to Sankranthi after all these years with a film directed by Shankar? Have you ever considered collaborating with him?
Anjali: I never anticipated this opportunity. I have long desired to work with both Shankar sir and Mani Ratnam Garu. Dil Raju's banner feels like a home to me. Both Seethamma Vaakitlo and Vakeel Saab are remarkable films. Regarding Game Changer, the character I portray in this film will not only stand out as the best in my collaborations with Dil Raju garu but also throughout my entire career.
Q. Among Telugu actresses, you have had the opportunity to work with prominent figures like Shankar and Ram Charan. What are your thoughts on this?
Anjali: I feel an immense sense of pride and joy, not just for myself but for all aspiring Telugu actresses. It is essential to believe in oneself and to work diligently. There is always a path that can lead to success. I trust my script choices, and I was immediately drawn to the script of Game Changer, which is why I signed on without hesitation.
Q. Every actor has a dream role. Is Parvati from Game Changer one of those roles for you?
Anjali: I have never had specific dream roles. However, if I were to envision a dream role, it would resemble Parvati from Game Changer.
Q. Were you apprehensive about working with Shankar, considering the pressure that can come with collaborating with one's favourite directors?
Anjali: Shankar sir is not intimidating at all. He is quite down-to-earth and focuses solely on the shot he is currently filming. As you mentioned, I did feel a bit nervous on my first day, but he made me feel at ease from the very beginning. He is truly a wonderful person.
Q. What has been the most challenging and memorable scene for you in Game Changer?
Anjali: I cannot disclose that at this moment. However, if you observe a particular scene in the film that seems challenging or memorable for me, you may consider that as my answer (laughs).

Anjali: In a sense, yes. If you have watched the teaser...
Q. How will the "Arugu Meeda" song be visually represented on screen?
Anjali: It will be remarkable. You enjoyed the song, correct? The visuals will exceed your expectations.

Anjali: I will inquire with Chiranjeevi Garu when I have the opportunity to meet him (laughs). I believe the time is right for that.
Q. You and Ram Charan portrayed characters that were older than your actual ages. What was your impression of this?
Anjali: In truth, we both cherished our roles immensely. Charan Garu had a particular fondness for the Appanna character. Our collaboration was excellent, and I credit Charan for allowing me the freedom to express myself. Audiences will share this sentiment when they see our scenes in theatres.
Q. What was your reaction upon seeing Ram Charan for the first time in Appanna's attire and yourself in Parvati's?
Anjali: I found it refreshing right after the look test. Most of my previous roles were more relatable or involved minimal makeup. In this film, I wear a bindi and use turmeric, embodying a woman from the 90s. Shankar sir aimed for a more authentic portrayal, and he was responsible for designing the looks of all the characters.
Q. How was your experience working again under Dil Raju's production?
Anjali: I feel a great sense of joy. Collaborating with Dil Raju Garu's production is always a pleasant experience. He is renowned for producing quality films, and as an actor, I consider it a privilege to be part of his projects.
