A video featuring Anniruddhacharya discussing the ongoing controversy has surfaced on social media platforms. In this footage, he expresses, “There is a young man named Ranveer Allahbadia. He has used inappropriate language regarding his mother. He claims that a son should not interfere in the personal matters of his parents. However, he also states that he wishes to be involved in such matters. (He made inappropriate remarks about his mother. He was suggesting that he would like to participate in the intimate affairs of a husband and wife, a mother and father. How can a son intrude upon that?),” he remarked.

“Consider the direction in which today’s youth is heading. I cannot bring myself to repeat the words of that irresponsible individual,” he continued.

About the stir

India's Got Latent, a program created and hosted by Samay Raina, has faced significant criticism following a remark made by guest Ranveer during the latest episode. Ranveer, popularly known as BeerBiceps, posed an inappropriate question to a contestant: "Would you rather watch your parents... or join in once and stop it forever?" This comment incited considerable outrage, resulting in a formal complaint against Ranveer, Samay, comedian Apoorva Mukhija, and the show's organizers.

In response to the backlash, Ranveer issued an apology for his controversial statements. “I shouldn’t have said what I said on India’s Got Latent. I’m sorry,” he posted on X, further stating, “My comment wasn't just inappropriate; it wasn't even funny. Comedy is not my forte. I am just here to express my regret. Many of you have questioned whether this is how I intend to utilize my platform. Clearly, this is not my desired approach.”

“I am not here to provide context, justification, or reasoning for what occurred. I am solely here to apologize. I experienced a lapse in judgment, and my actions were not acceptable. The podcast is viewed by individuals of all ages, and I do not wish to be someone who takes that responsibility lightly. Family is the last thing I would ever intend to disrespect,” the YouTuber concluded.
