Angelina Jolie's children—Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline—have consistently indicated their preference to distance themselves from the entertainment industry. Although they have accompanied her on the set for a few projects in the past, they have not demonstrated any inclination to step into the limelight or pursue careers akin to those of their renowned parents, Jolie and Brad Pitt.

"I have always wanted them to be involved in film because I believe it is a wonderful environment that fosters creativity and artistry. However, they do not share that interest," the actress stated during a panel discussion at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival on February 5.

"They have a strong aversion to the celebrity aspect of it, particularly Shiloh, who dislikes it immensely." She further remarked, "In a very healthy manner, they do not embrace it... It is not a typical lifestyle. In fact, it is rather absurd." While acknowledging that they have spent time on set with her, Jolie noted, "Some of them enjoy dancing, others are passionate about painting, and some have a love for theatre, but none of them are eager to appear on screen."

The Oscar-winning actress previously refrained from allowing celebrities into her inner circle, in contrast to her former partner, Brad Pitt, who has maintained close friendships with well-known actors such as George Clooney and Leonardo DiCaprio. However, recent reports from the Daily Mail indicate that she is revitalizing her Hollywood persona by welcoming new friendships with Demi Moore and Nicole Kidman, while also nurturing her bond with Eternals co-star Salma Hayek.

"Angelina is intentionally making these moves," a source revealed to the publication. "She is actively engaging with the Hollywood community to forge new friendships, and she genuinely enjoys it. She appreciates forming connections with other women in the industry and holds her famous friends in high regard. This is a positive development."

Jolie and Hayek are collaborating on Jolie's upcoming film, Without Blood. "Salma is very astute; I wouldn't be surprised if she encouraged Angelina to expand her social circle and build new relationships," the insider noted. Describing Hayek as a "mentor figure," the source emphasized her genuine concern for Jolie's well-being.

Despite not receiving recognition at the Oscars, Jolie is not retreating into solitude. Instead, she is actively participating in numerous events and maintaining a professional demeanour. Although Angelina did not dominate the awards season with her performance as the late opera singer Maria Callas, she had the opportunity to reconnect with Kate Winslet at the Golden Globe Awards.

Additionally, she strengthened her bond with Nicole Kidman at the Palm Springs Film Awards, shared a warm embrace with Demi Moore, and engaged in conversation with Zoe Saldana at the Critics Choice Awards. Furthermore, Ava DuVernay accompanied her at the Maltin Modern Master Award during the 40th Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
