Angelina Jolie is reportedly experiencing significant emotional distress as her 18-year-old daughter, Shiloh Nouvel Jolie, prepares to leave home to pursue her passion for dance. 

According to RadarOnline, the actress is struggling to manage the reality of her children, whom she considers her most "private" ones, transitioning to independence. This situation is further complicated by her ongoing legal battles with ex-husband Brad Pitt regarding a French winery, which are contributing to her stress.

“It’s all happening so quickly,” a source close to the family shared with Radar Online. “One by one, her kids are moving out, and despite it being a natural part of life, it is incredibly challenging for Angelina to accept.”

Shiloh ‘wants to live with friends while she studies dance’

Shiloh Nouvel Jolie plans to reside with friends as she follows her passion for dance. “Ange finds it particularly anxiety-inducing to allow Shiloh to venture into the world in pursuit of dance, given that it is not a conventional career choice. Shiloh's intention to live with friends while studying dance implies that she will not have the security associated with living on a university campus,” the source elaborated.

“She takes great pride in Shiloh and would never impede her aspirations,” the source added. “Nevertheless, it will be challenging for her to relinquish control.”

Jolie’s apprehension also stems from her own experiences as a young adult

Having left home at the age of 16, the star of Maleficent expresses a strong identification with Shiloh, who embodies a free-spirited nature. Consequently, the prospect of Shiloh navigating the world independently is quite daunting for her. She is unable to suppress her concerns regarding the potential challenges Shiloh may encounter, as revealed by an insider.

Earlier this year, Shiloh also made the decision to legally remove her father's surname, 'Pitt.' This choice reportedly caused significant emotional pain for Brad Pitt. A source previously informed Page Six, “They once shared a good relationship, but that is now a thing of the past, and it deeply saddens him.” Pitt feels that Angelina has alienated their children from him, believing that she is fully aware of the impact of her actions.

Jolie and Pitt, who finalized their divorce in 2019, are the parents of six children: Maddox, 23; Pax, 21; Zahara, 19; Shiloh, 18; and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16.
