Angelina Jolie is dealing with some serious financial stress due to her ongoing legal issues with her ex, Brad Pitt. According to sources from RadarOnline, she’s now nudging their six kids to pitch in financially. Although the 49-year-old Oscar winner would never actually take money from her children, she’s all for them understanding the importance of making their own cash.

Maddox helps lighten Jolie's load

Jolie's oldest son is making her super proud by landing a gig as the third assistant director on her film, Stitches. He’s got some experience in the entertainment world, having been a trainee on his parents' 2015 movie By the Sea, showing up in his estranged dad’s 2013 zombie film World War Z, and working as a production assistant on his mom’s 2024 Golden Globe-nominated project, Maria.

A source shared with RadarOnline, “Angelina is really excited to be working with him again, but what makes her happiest is that he’s earning a solid paycheck. Maddox would totally give it all to her, but Angelina wants him to keep it and learn how to budget and save.” The insider mentioned that it’s not about needing money for the Maleficent star, adding, “It’s great because it eases some of the pressure off Angelina. He can buy his own clothes and other little things.”

Jolie's other kids are busy at it

Jolie's kids are stepping up and figuring out how to make their own money and gain some independence. Her sons, Pax, 21, and Knox, 16, are helping out as assistant directors for Maria. The daughters are also keeping themselves occupied—Vivienne, 16, is co-producing plays, Shiloh, 18, is tutoring and working on turning books into movies, and Zahara, 20, is designing her own jewelry line while also helping out at her mom's dress shop, Atelier Jolie.
