According to sources from RadarOnline, the actress is looking into ways to make her children "totally self-sufficient" by signing them up for survival training and martial arts lessons.

Jolie is all about making sure her kids have the skills they need to handle tough situations and protect themselves if things get really bad. A source from the entertainment world shared, “She’s always had a passion for martial arts and self-defense. After training for action roles in films like Tomb Raider, she’s eager for her kids to master those skills too.”
The insider added, “The wildfires really opened her eyes to the fact that money won’t save her family in a doomsday scenario. She wants them to know how to survive in the wilderness for a few days because you never know when those skills might come in handy.”

The news broke after the Maleficent star was seen out shopping for supplies with her son Knox near their Los Feliz home, taking advantage of a lull in the wildfires. In a recent clip, Jolie was busy loading up a black Mercedes Benz with bottled water and groceries, mentioning that she was hosting some friends at her place.
When asked if she would help with fire relief efforts, she replied, "Yeah, I will, but right now I'm focused on taking care of the people close to me and having them over." At 49, Jolie has six kids with her ex, Brad Pitt—Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16. She’s also gearing up for a new chapter in Paris once her legal issues with Pitt are wrapped up.
