Yash Raj Films announced its forthcoming movie, Saiyaara, on Tuesday. The official YRF Instagram account revealed that this film will mark the studio's inaugural collaboration with director Mohit Suri, who will lead the project.

Ahaan Panday makes Bollywood debut with Aneet Padda

Ahaan Panday, the cousin of Ananya Panday, is set to make his debut in Bollywood with this film. It will feature Aneet Padda, recognized for her roles in Big Girls Don't Cry and Salaam Venky. The film is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 18 and is described as "an intense love story."

In its note, YRF wrote, “Yash Raj Films' romantic film Saiyaara, which introduces Ahaan Panday in the Hindi film industry & also stars Aneet Padda as the female lead, is set to release on July 18, 2025, in theatres worldwide.”

Ahaan is the son of Deanne Pandey and Chikki Panday. His sister is Alanna Panday.

It further stated, "Presented by Aditya Chopra, directed by Mohit Suri, and produced by Akshaye Widhani, Saiyaara is a powerful love story that marks the first collaboration between YRF and Mohit Suri!" The caption included, “Their love story is truly unique… (musical note, red heart, and dizzy emojis).”

Alanna, Ananya react to post

In her Instagram Stories, Alanna expressed her excitement by stating, "I have waited so long for this day (red heart emoji)." Ananya also shared the news on her Instagram, adding, "Welcome to the movie, my brother (red heart, folded hands, nazar, and emotional face emojis)."

YRF announced this news just a day after providing an update on the impactful crime thriller, Mardaani 3. The third installment of this female-led action series is scheduled to be released in theaters on February 27, 2026. Additionally, they revealed the first look of Rani Mukerji, who will reprise her iconic role as Senior Inspector Shivani Shivaji Roy, a determined and fearless police officer dedicated to justice.
