Ananya Panday was 'terrified' of Sara Ali Khan in school; Call Me Bae actress says she was addressed as 'ae girl'

Bollywood's promising young stars Ananya Panday and Sara Ali Khan share a great friendship. Their friendship is often talked about in the industry. Not many know but Sara was Ananya's three years senior in school. In a new interview, Ananya recalled being “terrified” of Sara because of her outspoken nature in school and also added that she used to hide from her.

In a conversation with Mid Day, Ananya Panday revealed that in school, Sara Ali Khan was very outspoken and Ananya would actually hide from her because she used to be terrified.
"If she was walking down a certain staircase, I would walk down a certain (another) staircase. Because she would say anything. Like she is moohfat anyways like now also she says but in school, she was even more moohfat and she used to really say anything. So, I used to be like she is going to say something about me," Ananya added.

Recounting her school days with Sara, Panday further added that they played together in school and the Kedarnath actress was the main in the play. Ananya used to hold her umbrella and she wouldn’t bother to know her name.
"She will be like say ‘ae girl’ come here. I don’t think because my name started with A, she didn’t even know that. Now when I tell her she says, ‘What rubbish I treated you so well’, but she did not know my name also in school," Ananya recalled.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Ananya Panday was recently seen in CTRL. The Netflix film received praise from the viewers. The plot follows Nella and Joe the perfect influencer couple. However, when he cheats on her, she turns to an AI app to digitally erase him from her life, only to discover that he's disappeared in real life as well. On the other hand, Sara Ali Khan has Metro In Dino in the kitty. Directed by Anurag Basu, the film also stars Aditya Roy Kapur.
