Actor Ananya Panday maintains a strong friendship with Suhana Khan, the daughter of Shah Rukh Khan, as well as with Shanaya Kapoor, the daughter of Maheep Kapoor. In a recent interview, Ananya discussed her relationship with them, revealing that they have a group chat named Ananya’s Fans.

Ananya reveals

Ananya shared insights during a conversation with Vogue India, where she elaborated on her connection with Suhana, Shanaya, and Navya Naveli Nanda. When Navya inquired about how Ananya manages self-care amidst her busy schedule, Ananya responded, “Engaging in conversation with you is one way. Regardless of my commitments, enjoying a meal or sharing a meme with friends serves as an instant remedy. I have two group chats: one with Suhana, Shanaya, and you, called Ananya’s Fans, and another with my school friends, which we named Oz after the first film we watched together. While I find camaraderie with friends in the industry, my friends outside of it provide a grounding influence. Since I began living independently, I have developed a desire for more solitude. Initially, I disliked it and ensured my parents were frequently present. Now, I appreciate simple activities such as reading, watching films, or spending time with my dog, Riot.”

In the same interview, Suhana also inquired about their shared experience of watching America’s Next Top Model and the journey to appearing on the cover of Vogue India, asking how Ananya has changed over time.

“Our conversations and direct messages often center around discussions of reality television shows like Too Hot To Handle and Love Is Blind. I perceive myself as largely unchanged, although others may believe I have transformed more than I feel. I am continuously growing as an actor, but personally, I have become more comfortable, confident, and less inclined to seek approval from others. In the past, I struggled to attend parties alone and would overthink to the point of distress. My mind was preoccupied with questions like, ‘Do they like me? Do they not like me? Have I said the right or wrong thing?’ Now, I am less concerned about the minor details that are beyond my control,” Ananya stated.

Ananya was most recently featured in Vikramaditya Motwane's CTRL, a performance that garnered her favorable reviews. Additionally, she appeared in the web series Call Me Bae, which premiered on Prime Video.

In her upcoming projects, Ananya will star in Karan Johar's romantic drama Chand Mera Dil, alongside Lakshay. Directed by Vivek Soni, this film is anticipated to be released in theaters in 2025, with the official release date yet to be confirmed. Furthermore, she is involved in a Dharma Productions film centered on the Indian lawyer and statesman C Sankaran Nair, where she will act alongside Akshay Kumar and R. Madhavan.
