Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding saw a bevy of global and national celebrities in attendance. From Shah Rukh Khan to Amitabh Bachchan to Kim Kardashian and others – social media has been flooded with photos of guests at the wedding. Not just the stars from the entertainment universe but a number of dignitaries from across the world were in attendance too. 

On Sunday, July 14, a series of Bengali celebrities attended the wedding. Saswata Chatterjee, Nusrat Jahan, Yash Daasguptaa, Rukmini Maitra, Riya Sen, Raima Sen, and Susmita Chatterjee were among the guests. After attending the wedding, Susmita talked to us and elaborated on her experience. 

Susmita reached the venue around 10 pm. “It is more gorgeous than we see on social media posts. It's huge and grand,” she said. Dressed in a pale pastel yellow lehenga, she was decked up by her trusted makeup artist, Kaju Guha. Soumya Nandy helped her with styling. The Prem Tame actress shared her photos and videos with OTTplay. 

“The couple -- Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant -- looked gorgeous and dreamy. Radhika looks so pretty,” Susmita exclaimed. She met the other guests, including director Atlee, Tamanna Bhatiaa, and others. However, she enjoyed the wedding by herself. “I was alone and soaked up all the grandeur of ambiance,” she said. Talking about the menu, she confirmed that there were endless food items. “No one person can end up tasting everything. I enjoyed chat items and other things. However, I absolutely loved Jamun Kulfi. It was divine,” she said. 

Susmita received the invitation about a month ago and kept it private. “First of all, I was in a state of disbelief. I have no PR or manager in Mumbai and yet I got the invitation. And then finally, I thought if I attended the wedding, everyone would get to know anyway. So I kept it to myself. I am happy that the Ambani family thought I could grace their special family affair. I am grateful for their hospitality,” the actress said.
