Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan recently paid a visit to the Shri Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai with his son, Abhishek Bachchan. One excited fan, thrilled to see the legendary actor, couldn't hold back her admiration and shared her feelings. Here's how Amitabh responded.

In a video that's been circulating online, Amitabh and Abhishek are seen walking through the temple grounds to seek blessings from Lord Ganesha at the renowned Shri Siddhivinayak. A fan, filming with her phone, shouted, “We love you, Amit Sir!” The 82-year-old star seemed a bit taken aback, but his reaction was priceless. Upon hearing her words, he blushed and flashed a shy smile, which made the video go viral with tons of love from viewers.

Abhishek's unique present for his father Amitabh

The actor recently shared on his blog about his visit to a temple, where his son Abhishek gifted him a special pen. He expressed that even in this digital age, Abhishek recognizes his father's appreciation for handwritten notes, which he finds really touching.

Big B reflected on how handwriting has taken a backseat to typing on screens, noting that younger generations are now submitting their work digitally and rarely write by hand. However, he was grateful for Abhishek's thoughtful gift, which symbolizes that he still enjoys putting pen to paper.

He also highlighted a unique feature of the pen: "Abhishek chose it because it has nibs designed specifically for both left-handed and right-handed users!" the actor added.

Amitabh Bachchan's new films on the horizon

Amitabh was recently seen in Vettaiyan, which was his first film in Tamil. The movie also starred big names like Rajinikanth, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, Rohini, Rao Ramesh, Abhirami, and Ramesh Thilak. He’s got the sequel to Kalki 2898 AD coming up, directed by Nag Ashwin, featuring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan. Additionally, he will appear in Ribhu Dasgupta’s Section 84, which includes Diana Penty and Nimrat Kaur in significant roles.
