Actor Amitabh Bachchan, the current host of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) 16, endeared himself to his audience when he assisted a contestant by tying their shoelaces. Sony Entertainment Television shared a short video on Instagram showcasing this heartwarming moment, where Amitabh Bachchan graciously offered to help a young contestant seated in the spotlight.

The video commenced with a young girl fastening her shoelaces as  Amitabh Bachchan approached her. He inquired, "Are your laces undone? Should I tie them for you?" The girl responded with a smile, "Yes, that will do." As Amitabh leaned in to secure her laces, she loosened them again, prompting Amitabh to ask, "Why did you untie them when they were already fastened?"

The girl directed her gaze towards him and smiled. Amitabh inquired, "Should I tie it?" While fastening the shoelaces, he remarked, "There is already an issue here." Once he completed the task, the girl confidently stated that it would never come undone again. Amitabh responded by pointing out that there had been a mistake in the initial tying of the shoelaces. "I merely tied it superficially," he explained.

The video concluded with Amitabh playfully teasing the young girl. The accompanying caption stated, "Agar laces AB bante, toh hum bhi kabhi na kholte (If AB tied our laces, we would never open it)!" In response to the clip, one fan remarked, "Kya himat hai bache ka (What courage the kid has)."

Another comment expressed, “Your nature is the reason for your global popularity; you treat everyone equally, showering love on all. May God bless you with immense happiness.” An Instagram user noted, "What a memorable moment for the child; she will cherish the fact that Amitabh Bachchan tied her shoelaces." Additionally, a comment simply stated, "Cute girl."
