Bollywood legend Jaya Bachchan celebrated her 77th birthday on Tuesday, and social media was buzzing with heartfelt messages from family, friends, and fans. Amitabh expressed his appreciation

Although Jaya isn't active on social media, her husband, the iconic Amitabh Bachchan, took to the platform to express his gratitude for the overwhelming birthday wishes. He posted a thank-you message on X (formerly Twitter), saying, “To everyone who has wished Jaya on her birthday, my heartfelt thanks and love. It’s impossible to reply to each one, so I’m sharing this message instead.”

Navya sent the cutest picture to wish 'Nani'

Jaya received the most heartwarming birthday message from her granddaughter, Navya Naveli Nanda. Navya shared an adorable photo of herself with her Nani on her Instagram Stories. The snapshot beautifully shows the two gazing affectionately at one another, with Navya's arm wrapped around the birthday girl.

In the picture, both Jaya and Navya are dressed in matching ethnic outfits. Jaya is elegantly draped in a white saree with a pink border, while Navya shines in a vibrant yellow anarkali set. “Happy birthday, Nani (red heart emoji),” Navya wrote alongside the photo.

Kajol, who starred alongside Jaya in Karan Johar's blockbuster film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham back in 2001, also took a moment to celebrate her on her birthday. She shared a heartfelt photo of the two embracing in front of a Durga Pujo pandal on X (formerly Twitter). In her post, Kajol expressed her wishes with a note that said, "Happy birthday to the most straightforward woman I know. Here’s to an amazing year ahead!"

Jaya Bachchan is set to appear in the upcoming film Dil Ka Darwaaza Khol Na Darling, featuring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Wamiqa Gabbi. Directed by Vikas Bahl, this movie promises to be a romantic comedy musical and is scheduled for release later this year.
