When the idea was pitched to him, he was totally baffled and didn’t quite grasp how the show would function. To clear things up, the production team took him to the LC Studio in London, where the game was happening.
After soaking in the vibrant energy of the setup, he told the KBC crew that he’d only host if they could bring that same vibe to India. Amitabh also opened up about some behind-the-scenes moments, admitting he didn’t have any formal training for the show. He reminisced, "The producers didn’t notice my racing heart, and the camera didn’t catch my legs shaking on the first day. I was clueless about what was coming next. I just went with whatever popped into my head."

He mentioned, "When I broke the news to my family about hosting KBC, I won’t name names, but some were like, 'You’re making a huge mistake. People know you from the big screen, and now you want to be on the small screen?' I didn’t let that sway me and went for it anyway. And look at me now, sitting in this chair for 25 years."
Amitabh Bachchan was recently seen in Kalki 2898 AD. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film featured Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan in key roles. Big B's role as Ashwatthama in this sci-fi flick was a hit, and the movie raked in over ₹1,000 crore globally.
