Actor Amit Sadh has addressed a query regarding whether he feels he did not receive the recognition he deserved following his 2013 film Kai Po Che. In a discussion with the Times of India, Amit expressed that he was offered leading roles; however, those films did not achieve commercial success.

Amit Sadh spoke about life after Kai Po Che

Amit expressed that following the release of Kai Po Che, he received affection from the audience, generated income, and was able to sustain himself within the film industry. "At that time, my primary concern was whether I could pay my rent on time... I was not focused on anyone else's situation. I was solely concentrating on my well-being, and I was experiencing a positive phase."

Amit opened up about starring in films

I have also taken on leading roles; however, those films did not achieve success. It would be unwise for me to overlook the fact that after a lengthy wait, "Kai Po Che" came along, bringing me appreciation from the audience, financial gain, and the means to sustain myself. As long as I continue to receive quality roles, I will find contentment, he remarked.
