In recent times, the rapper has garnered media attention for his public appearances with Bianca Censori, frequently attracting notice for her choice of attire during these outings. Amber Rose, West's former partner, has recently shared her own experiences with him, reminiscing about a poignant incident in which he insisted she wear a revealing, transparent dress, leading her to tears.

Amber Rose explains the reason behind West’s choice of dresses for his women

Rose disclosed the rationale behind the rapper's tendency to have his girlfriends or wives dress in revealing attire in public. Recently, she was questioned about her perspective on Censori's nearly nude appearance on the Grammy red carpet. During a conversation with Shannon Sharpe on his Club Shay Shay podcast, she stated, “Kanye undoubtedly influences her wardrobe choices. He did the same with me and Kim. It’s simply part of his character.”

West's former partner elaborated, “He desires for other men to be attracted to his partner. That is his preference; he enjoys seeing men admire his woman. He wants all his acquaintances to be interested in his girlfriend.” She further remarked, “He aims for his girlfriend or wife to be perceived as the most desirable person in the room.”

Amber Rose ‘cried’ over West's choice of dress

Shannon proceeded to inquire of Rose, “Did you dress that way because it was his preference, aiming to satisfy your partner?” Rose then revealed, “I was young, and I will tell Kanye now that at that age, it felt acceptable; he was purchasing these items for me, and I did appear attractive and stylish. However, if you examine older photographs of me during my relationship with Kanye when I was alone, I am often seen wearing his clothing.”

She elaborated, “I typically wore baggy jeans, a T-shirt, and a large jacket. I would raid his wardrobe in his absence. I preferred to wear his clothes because I disliked dressing provocatively. I rebelled against that style when he was not around, opting for his closet instead. I usually wore sweatpants paired with some Jordans and perhaps a casual dad hat. My style was very laid-back.”

Rose recounted an occasion when she donned a sheer dress while accompanying West. She candidly admitted that she “cried” and explained that wearing the dress was not her decision, yet she complied due to the rapper's influence.

Rose stated, “I cried. I distinctly remember crying. I was in Italy or Paris, and I recall arguing with him, expressing that I did not want to wear this outfit.” She then shared how West responded, “You don’t understand; it’s fashion, I’m a genius.” She concluded, “While I still did not wish to wear it, I went along with it, and the internet had a field day with my appearance.”
