Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor embarked on an entrepreneurial journey by co-founding a demi-fine jewellery brand named Palmonas. The brand has recently appeared on Shark Tank India Season 4; however, the absence of the actress during the pitch left the investors disappointed.

A promotional video for Season 4 of Shark Tank India features Palmonas co-founders Pallavi Mohadikar and Amol Patwari as they seek investment for their jewellery line. They state, “Welcome to the world of demi-fine jewellery. Together with our third co-founder, Shraddha Kapoor, we are creating India’s most beloved demi-fine jewellery brand.”

Sharks question Shraddha's absence

The investors expressed curiosity regarding Shraddha's lack of presence alongside her co-founders during the pitch. Aman Gupta, the founder of Boat, inquired, “Shraddha Kapoor didn’t come?” Pallavi responded, “She was very excited to come on the show.” Surprised, Aman then asked for clarification on her absence, to which Pallavi humorously replied, “I told her, yeh tumhari expertise nahi hai (this is not your expertise),” eliciting laughter from the investors.

Reactions from fans regarding Palmonas' appearance on Shark Tank India were varied. One comment questioned, “Do they also have to come here?” Another remarked, “Shark Tank is a great platform for marketing. Shraddha knows that.” A humorous comment suggested, “They would have secured an instant deal had Shraddha been present for the pitch.”
