Playback singer Armaan Malik married his longtime girlfriend Aashna Shroff in a private ceremony on December 28. It has come to light that the couple had a registered marriage earlier on April 22, 2024. Armaan has recently released some previously unseen photographs from their wedding, featuring a joyful moment with his brother Amaal Mallik, who is seen smiling and posing alongside the couple.

 On Tuesday, Armaan posted several images on Instagram from his official marriage to Aashna. The photos feature the couple dressed in matching pink attire for their significant occasion. Aashna looked exquisite in a saree complemented by green bangles and gold jewelry, while Armaan appeared handsome in a kurta adorned with white floral embroidery. The couple seemed to enjoy playful and romantic moments together at home.

In one of the images, the couple was completely engrossed in each other. In another, they were captured holding hands and making playful expressions while posing for the camera. They also took family portraits, one of which featured Armaan’s brother Amaal—who recently announced his decision to sever ties with their family—smiling widely alongside Aashna, Armaan, and their father, Daboo Malik. Armaan shared the photos with the caption: “A year since we sealed the deal.”

For those unfamiliar with the situation, in March, Amaal disclosed his struggle with depression and his choice to distance himself from his family. In a now-deleted Instagram post, he expressed:

“The actions of my parents have caused a rift between my brother and me. Over the years, they have consistently undermined my well-being and belittled my friendships, relationships, mindset, and self-esteem. Nevertheless, I persevered because I know my strength and believe in my resilience.”

He continued, “Currently, I find myself in a position where my peace has been stripped away, leaving me emotionally drained—and perhaps financially as well, though that is the least of my worries. The core issue is that I am clinically depressed due to these circumstances. While I acknowledge my own role in my actions, my self-worth has been repeatedly diminished by those closest to me. Moving forward, my interactions with my family will be strictly professional. This decision is not made out of anger, but rather from a need to heal and reclaim my life. I refuse to allow the past to dictate my future any longer. I am dedicated to reconstructing my life, step by step, with integrity and strength.”

Armaan and Aashna have reportedly been dating since 2019 but have never publicly spoken about their relationship. While Armaan is known for songs like Chale Aana (De De Pyaar De), Hua Hain Aaj Pehli Baar (Sanam Re), and Bol Do Na Zara (Azhar), Aashna is a social media influencer who blogs about fashion and wellness. She often shares glimpses of her outings and dates with Armaan.
