Self-styled guru and internet star Abhay Singh, better known as IIT Baba from the Maha Kumbh Mela, had claimed that India would lose to Pakistan on Sunday. But his prediction didn't hold up, as India actually won the cricket match. Actor Aly Goni jumped into the social media fun, teasing IIT Baba about his wrong call.

What did the old lady say?

Just hours before the game, IIT Baba, known off the field as Abhay Singh, boldly claimed that India was going to lose and that Virat Kohli would flop. His prediction quickly went viral on social media, grabbing a lot of attention.

He stated, "I'm telling you right now, India isn't winning this time. Whoever it is—Virat Kohli, everyone—let them know to try and win today if they can. Now that I've said they won't win, they definitely won't. So what's the deal? Is God more powerful, or are you?"

Aly Goni responds strongly

Aly Goni hopped on X, previously known as Twitter, to poke fun at IIT Baba, whose prediction about India losing turned out to be way off. After the game, Aly tweeted, "Virat ended IIT Baba’s career before it even got started."

Aly's clever post quickly took off, igniting a wave of laughter and meme-filled replies in the comments as fans jumped in on the funny roast of IIT Baba.

Aly also praised star player Virat Kohli, who scored an unbeaten 100 to help India secure a six-wicket victory over their rivals Pakistan on Sunday. He said, “The greatest chase master #KingKohli.”

Other celebrities joined in to celebrate Team India and Virat Kohli. Actress Anushka Sharma showed her support for her husband after he set multiple records during the match. The Indian cricket team clinched the high-stakes ICC Champions Trophy 2025 match against Pakistan by six wickets at the Dubai International Stadium, which unofficially knocked Pakistan out of the tournament.

IIT Baba has since apologized for his comments on X, previously known as Twitter. He stated, “I want to publicly apologize and ask each one of you all to celebrate, it's party time.”
