OTTplay has previously announced that Allu Arjun is preparing to work with Trivikram Srinivas for the fourth time on a mythological action drama. The film's pre-production was advancing rapidly, with indications that Allu Arjun would take on the role of Lord Karthikeya. Nevertheless, recent developments indicate that the project has encountered a significant obstacle.

A source affiliated with the production has disclosed that significant pre-production efforts are necessary, resulting in a postponement. Consequently, the film's commencement has been rescheduled to 2026. In the interim, it has been reported that Allu Arjun has approved Atlee’s upcoming project, which is slated to start filming in June 2025.

Allu Arjun to team up with Atlee

This represents the inaugural partnership between Allu Arjun and Atlee. Nevertheless, the project has not been formally announced as discussions concerning the compensation for both the director and the actor are still in progress. In spite of these challenges, it has been confirmed that Atlee's film will be Allu Arjun's next endeavor following Pushpa 2.

Atlee, renowned for his successful film Jawan featuring Shah Rukh Khan, took significant time to confirm his subsequent project. He had also proposed a film to Salman Khan, but that endeavor did not come to fruition. Instead, he has now secured Allu Arjun for his upcoming venture.
