Protests outside Allu Arjun's house in Hyderabad escalated on Sunday night, leading to some serious vandalism. Footage from Big TV shows demonstrators with signs, throwing stones and tomatoes at the Jubilee Hills residence, smashing flower pots, and calling for the actor to support the victim's family.

Protesters deface Allu Arjun's residence

The TV channel is reporting that the protesters identified themselves as the OU JAC (Joint Action Committee of Osmania University students) and are demanding that Arjun compensate the victim’s family with at least ₹1 crore, especially since Pushpa 2: The Rule did really well at the box office.

One protester shared with the channel, “We want Allu Arjun to support Revathi’s family. It’s baffling that so many celebrities rushed to see him after he got out of jail, but none showed up when a woman lost her life. Now is the time for them to back Revathi’s family and support Sri Teja. We won’t let this slide if our demands aren’t addressed.”

At the time of the incident, the actor and his family were at home. His staff took his kids, Arha and Ayaan, to their maternal uncle's place. The police showed up, and eight people were arrested, as reported by Live Hindustan.

Trade analyst Manobala and Ind Today reported that protesters set Arjun's effigy on fire, and we're still waiting for more details.

The Pushpa 2 crowd surge event

On December 4, Arjun went to Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad with his family and co-star Rashmika Mandanna. Unfortunately, his visit led to a chaotic situation that resulted in a woman losing her life and her young son being hospitalized in critical condition. Arjun was arrested on December 13 and got out on December 14 after the High Court granted him interim bail.

After his release, he received visits from several film personalities, including Vijay Deverakonda, Venkatesh, Rana Daggubati, and Naga Chaitanya. However, Telangana CM Revanth Reddy has made new accusations against Arjun, claiming he was aware of the woman's death while still at the theatre. The Telangana police support this claim, but Arjun maintains that he only learned about the incident the following day.
