Allu Arjun issued a new statement on Sunday following his press conference on Saturday evening, appealing to his fans to refrain from engaging in inappropriate conduct. Despite facing new allegations from Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy regarding incidents that occurred during the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule at Sandhya Theatre, the actor called on his supporters to maintain their composure.

Allu Arjun's message to his supporters.

On Sunday, Arjun issued a new statement on X (formerly Twitter), urging his fans to communicate their sentiments in a responsible manner, as they have consistently done, and to refrain from any form of abusive language or conduct, both online and offline. He further cautioned individuals who are ‘misrepresenting’ his supporters through ‘fake IDs’ that severe measures will be implemented against them if they partake in such actions, stating, “Those who misrepresent themselves as my fans using fake IDs and profiles, if they engage in abusive postings, will face strong repercussions. I kindly ask my fans to avoid interacting with such content.”

Officials from the Telangana government have summoned Allu Arjun.

This statement follows a day after Chief Minister Revanth and MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi addressed the Pushpa 2 premiere stampede incident in the Telangana assembly. Akbaruddin accused Arjun of stating, "the film will be a hit," upon learning of a fan's death, while Revanth asserted that the police notified him of the death while he was present in the theater. Arjun contends that he was unaware of the incident until the day after the premiere on December 4. Additionally, ACP Vishnumurthy Sabbathi conducted a press conference cautioning Arjun against attributing blame to the police, despite the actor's claim that he does not hold anyone responsible for the occurrence.

What happened.

On December 4, Arjun attended the premiere of his latest film, Pushpa 2: The Rule, at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad, accompanied by his family and co-star Rashmika Mandanna. He departed from the screening prematurely, citing that his management had alerted him to the escalating chaos among the crowd. His presence led to a stampede-like scenario, tragically resulting in the death of a woman and the critical hospitalization of her young son. The police have stated that they did not authorize Arjun's attendance, while the actor contends that the theatre management had invited him.
