Choreographer Ganesh Acharya, renowned for his work on songs such as Kissk and Oo Antava, recently discussed the filming of Allu Arjun's Gango Renuka Thalli (Jathara) song from Pushpa 2. In an interview with India Today Digital, he praised the actor's commitment and disclosed that Allu Arjun sustained several injuries during the shoot.

Ganesh reflected on Allu Arjun's determination, noting that the actor continued to work through injuries while filming the Jathara song. He stated, “The shoot for the Jathara song was incredibly demanding for me. We filmed for 29 consecutive days, which was quite challenging, but the true credit belongs to Allu Arjun. He invested five years into both Pushpa films. In the Jathara sequence, he performed in a saree, ghungroos, a necklace, a blouse, and various other accessories. He would injure himself every 5-10 days, occasionally breaking his foot or suffering neck injuries, yet he never faltered.”

The Jathara sequence in Pushpa 2: The Rule has emerged as one of the film's standout moments. The song showcases Allu Arjun adorned in a blue saree with body paint, paying tribute to Goddess Gangamma Thalli. He is seen wearing jhumkas, ghungroos, bangles, a nose pin, and other jewelry, performing on burning coal until his wife Srivalli, portrayed by Rashmika Mandanna, intervenes. Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2: The Rule achieved remarkable success, earning over ₹1,800 crore globally.

In addition, Ganesh Acharya is actively promoting his forthcoming film Pintu Ki Pappi. He will also take on an acting role in the movie, which features newcomers Shushant Thamke, Jaanya Joshi, and Viidhi, alongside a talented ensemble cast that includes Vijay Raaz, Murali Sharma, Sunil Pal, Ali Asgar, Puja Banerjee, Aditi Sanwal, Ria S Soni, Urvashi Chauhan, Pyumori Mehta Das, and Mukteshwar Ojha. The film is scheduled for release in theaters on March 21.
