Many have raised concerns regarding his lack of visit to the second victim of the stampede, who is still hospitalized. In response to the backlash, Allu Arjun has issued a statement. Additionally, it is noteworthy that a day after his release, he visited Chiranjeevi accompanied by his family.

The actor was apprehended at his residence on Friday about the death of a fan during the premiere of his film Pushpa 2: The Rule. A young victim of the stampede remains in critical condition.

Allu Arjun puts out a note

Allu Arjun utilized Instagram on Sunday to address the reasons for his absence from the hospital where the child is receiving care. In his statement, the actor clarified that his legal counsel has recommended against visiting the child or his family at this moment.

“I am profoundly concerned about young Sri Tej, who is receiving continuous medical attention following the unfortunate incident,” he expressed in his note.

The actor further conveyed his hopes for a swift recovery. “In light of the ongoing legal matters, I have been advised not to visit him and his family at this time. My thoughts and prayers are with them, and I am dedicated to fulfilling my responsibilities regarding their medical and familial needs,” he stated.

Allu added, “I wish him a rapid recovery, and I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to meet him and his family as soon as possible.”

The statement follows widespread criticism from social media users who pointed out that he chose to meet with friends and family after his release from jail, rather than visit the hospital to see the victim.

About the incident

On Friday, actor Allu Arjun was apprehended at his residence with the events that transpired during the premiere of his film Pushpa 2: The Rule on December 4. A chaotic situation resembling a stampede occurred at the Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad, where Allu Arjun was in attendance alongside his wife, Sneha Reddy, and co-star, Rashmika Mandanna. This unfortunate incident resulted in the death of 35-year-old Revathi, while her son remains hospitalized in critical condition.

Following his detention, Allu Arjun was released from a Hyderabad jail on Saturday. His return home was marked by emotional scenes as he was warmly welcomed by his family, with numerous photos and videos documenting the reunion. The actor also took the opportunity to address the media at his residence on the same day.

He conveyed his heartfelt condolences regarding the tragic occurrence outside the theatre. “I was inside the theatre enjoying a film with my family when the incident took place outside. It is genuinely not connected to me, entirely accidental, and purely unintentional. My thoughts are with the family, and I will support them in any way I can,” he stated. Earlier that day, Allu Arjun, accompanied by his family, visited his uncle and fellow actor Chiranjeevi.
