Thandel, the newest flick featuring Naga Chaitanya, is off to an amazing start at the box office. In just three days since its release, this romantic drama is close to hitting the ₹50 crore milestone, making it the top-grossing film of Naga Chaitanya's career so far.

Allu Aravind says sorry to Ram Charan's fans

Allu Aravind produced the film, but it’s been through a lot, like dealing with piracy and online trolls. During a press event for Thandel, he mentioned Game Changer and pointed out that Dil Raju had a big win with Sankranthiki Vasthunam but also faced a flop with Game Changer in the same week. This didn’t go over well with mega fans, who started trolling him on social media.

There’s been some tension between the Mega family and the Allu camp for a while, and it got more noticeable after Allu Arjun’s recent legal issues. In light of the backlash, Allu Aravind issued a public apology today, saying, “Fans thought I was bad-mouthing Ram Charan. I’m sorry for my unintended comments.”

Thandel is dealing with problems related to piracy

Thandel has had its fair share of drama lately. On top of the ongoing controversy, the film hit a major snag when its HD print got leaked online right on release day, and it was even shown on a government bus in Andhra Pradesh. Allu Aravind didn’t hold back, warning that they would take strict legal action, stating, “We’ve invested crores into this film, and piracy is simply not acceptable. Those behind this will face serious consequences.”

Interestingly, all this buzz has only cranked up the hype for Thandel, leading to a boost in ticket sales. The film saw solid occupancy on Monday, and trade experts are predicting steady box office performance in the days ahead. Meanwhile, Sai Pallavi, who stars as the female lead, has been noticeably missing from the promotional activities post-release, while Naga Chaitanya is busy touring theaters across Andhra Pradesh.

Despite the mixed reviews, Thandel is still a hot topic. It’ll be fascinating to see how much it rakes in by the end of its run. Netflix has also snagged the digital rights for a hefty sum. Stay tuned for more updates!
