Allu Aravind expresses immense pride in witnessing his son, Allu Arjun, attain remarkable success as a prominent star with the film Pushpa 2: The Rule. The producer elaborated on how his son is upholding the family's legacy into its third generation and discussed the factors contributing to the widespread success of Pushpa 2 across the nation.

In a recent interview with Galatta Plus, Allu Aravind expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “It is incredibly thrilling. The fact that he is becoming a hero is one aspect, while his achievement of breaking all records in India and emerging as the largest film in the country adds another layer of excitement for us. We are truly fortunate to have the support of all the prominent figures in the industry. My son is here.” When asked about the factors contributing to this significant success, Allu Aravind elaborated, “When you aim to convey the essence of a specific region authentically, that sentiment resonates with audiences across India. Conversely, if you approach it with the mindset of creating a pan-Indian film from the outset, I believe you may not achieve the desired outcome. A substantial portion of the credit belongs to director Sukumar. It is worth noting that Sukumar and Allu Arjun share a close friendship, which led to discussions that ultimately birthed Pushpa 1. They intended to craft a rugged character that embodies the struggles of the marginalized in India. This approach allowed the character to connect instantly with audiences nationwide, particularly among the masses.”

Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2: The Rule serves as the sequel to the 2021 hit Pushpa: The Rise. Allu Arjun reprises his role as Pushpa Raj, joined by Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli and Fahadh Faasil as SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat. The film has achieved remarkable success, grossing over ₹1800 crore globally, making it the second highest-grossing Indian film of all time. It is now available for streaming on Netflix.
