Actors Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, and Ranbir Kapoor were present at the birthday celebration of filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali on Monday evening in Mumbai. The event also saw the attendance of Bhansali's close friends and numerous industry colleagues. The esteemed filmmaker celebrated his 62nd birthday on that day.

For the occasion, Alia donned a cream-colored top paired with coordinating trousers. She complemented her outfit with heels and a handbag. Ranbir Kapoor was observed in a blue shirt accompanied by white trousers. Vicky Kaushal chose a black long-sleeved T-shirt along with matching pants. Sanjay Leela Bhansali attended the event in a black kurta and white pyjama.

At the birthday celebration, the trio gathered for a photograph with the paparazzi, accompanied by Bhansali. Following a warm embrace between Alia and Ranbir with Bhansali, Vicky also joined in the gesture. He was later observed sharing a hug with Ranbir. Alia, Ranbir, and Vicky are set to work with Bhansali on his upcoming film, Love and War.

About Love and War

The film Love and War marks the inaugural collaboration between Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Leela Bhansali since the actor's debut in Saawariya in 2007. While Vicky Kaushal has yet to work with the esteemed director, Alia Bhatt previously collaborated with Bhansali in the 2022 film Gangubai Kathiawadi.

The official announcement for the film was made in January 2024. The initial post on Instagram stated, "We Bring You Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Epic Saga Love & War. See You At The Movies," accompanied by the signatures of the leading trio: Ranbir, Alia, and Vicky. Production for Love and War is anticipated to commence in the upcoming months.

Vicky recently appeared in the film Chhaava, which is directed by Laxman Utekar. The cast includes Akshaye Khanna, Rashmika Mandanna, Diana Penty, and Ashutosh Rana. Chhaava is a historical drama that depicts the remarkable tale of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. The film has already grossed over ₹400 crore at the global box office.

Audiences can anticipate Alia's performance in her forthcoming film Alpha, directed by Shiv Rawail. Alpha is poised to be a significant entry in Yash Raj Films' esteemed spy universe and is set to premiere on December 25.

Ranbir was last featured in Animal, alongside Triptii Dimri and Rashmika Mandanna. The actor is also involved in the sequel to Animal, titled Animal Park. Additionally, he has Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana in development.
