Actor Alia Bhatt has shared insights into her life following the birth of her daughter, Raha Kapoor. In a conversation with Jay Shetty on his Purpose Podcast, Alia expressed that she has become "incessantly protective" since Raha's arrival. She noted that her concerns for Raha persist over time.
Alia shares how she has been protective of Raha
Alia elaborated on her protective instincts regarding Raha, stating, "I can confidently say that while this instinct is beneficial, it can also present challenges. Perhaps 'bad' is not the right term, but it is something that others may need to accommodate. Since Raha's birth, I have undoubtedly become exceedingly protective. The initial months after her arrival were a period of bliss for me. I relished the immediate sense of responsibility, feeling that 'this being needs me to survive at this moment.' I cherished that bonding experience, yet I was overwhelmed with worry."
Alia opens up on being worried about Raha
Alia further discussed her desire to be present during Raha's childhood. She remarked, "I strive to be very mindful and truly enjoy the moments with Raha. I make a concerted effort to be present with her, which is something I often neglect in other aspects of my life. With her, I naturally focus on the present because I want to savor every second. However, I constantly feel an openness in my heart, accompanied by an ongoing sense of worry regarding her well-being. I suspect this is a reality I will have to embrace for the entirety of my life."
Recently, Alia removed Raha's pics from Instagram
Earlier this month, Alia took down all images of Raha from her Instagram account that displayed the child's face. A review of Alia's current Instagram reveals that there are no discernible photos of Raha. Additionally, images from their recent trip to Jamnagar and their family vacation in Paris have also been removed. Recently, Neetu Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor's mother, urged the paparazzi to refrain from photographing Raha.

Regarding Alia's personal life, she and Ranbir were married in April 2022 after several years of being in a relationship. Their daughter, Raha, was born in November 2022. On Christmas 2023, Ranbir and Alia delighted their fans by making their first public appearance with Raha.
