Ranbir and Alia spotted at dream home project
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir's outing following their anniversary focused on evaluating their upcoming significant project. On April 16, the couple was seen visiting the site of their future residence in Mumbai.
A video capturing this outing surfaced on social media, with Pinkvilla being the first to share it on Instagram.
In the footage, Ranbir and Alia are seen at the location of their new home. Ranbir wore a black t-shirt, coordinating shorts, sneakers, and a cap as he arrived. Alia Bhatt opted for a casual look with a shirt and shorts, patiently waiting for her husband. The video features Ranbir Kapoor assessing the construction progress of their new house. It concludes with the couple sitting in their vehicle as they prepare to leave.
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor celebrated their third anniversary on April 14. To commemorate the special day, Alia shared a heartwarming photo of the two of them embracing on a beach. In the image, Ranbir gazes into the camera while Alia rests against him, holding him closely. Accompanying the photo, she wrote, “Home, always. #Happy3 (heart and hug emojis).” The couple has a daughter named Raha.
What we know about the bungalow
The bungalow has been in the process of construction for several years. It is named Krishna Raj in honor of Ranbir’s grandmother, which imbues it with deep emotional value for the Kapoor family. The property was previously owned by Ranbir's grandparents, Raj Kapoor and Krishna Raj, and is thought to have been passed down to the late Rishi Kapoor and Neetu in 1980. They raised their children in this very home. In 2016, Rishi and Neetu began plans to renovate the property.
There were earlier reports suggesting that Ranbir intended to name the bungalow after his and Alia's daughter, Raha. According to a report from Bollywood Life, the new bungalow is estimated to have cost Ranbir and his family around ₹250 crore. It is also rumored that once the bungalow is completed, the entire Kapoor family, including Neetu Kapoor, will reside together under one roof. Currently, Alia and Ranbir live with Raha at Vastu.
