Actor Alia Bhatt is set to celebrate her 32nd birthday on March 15. In anticipation of this occasion, she marked the event with a cake-cutting ceremony alongside members of the media. Her husband, actor Ranbir Kapoor, was in attendance and added a playful touch to the gathering, resulting in several delightful moments.

In footage taken by the paparazzi, Alia appears to be in high spirits as she celebrates her birthday. She playfully takes a bite of cake before sharing a piece with Ranbir after slicing it. In a lighthearted moment, Ranbir playfully smudges cake on her nose, prompting her to scrunch her face adorably. Despite this playful gesture, she responds with a broad smile, to which he affectionately kisses her on the forehead.
Alia wore a peach floral kurta for her pre-birthday festivities, opting for a natural, makeup-free appearance. Ranbir appeared stylish in a casual shirt and trousers in neutral tones. He enthusiastically clapped and sang "Happy Birthday" as she sliced the cake. Following the celebration, he extended an invitation to the media to join in sharing the cake.
Recent work
Ranbir last starred in Luv Ranjan’s 2023 rom-com Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s action-drama Animal. While both films were hits, the latter made more noise for the polarising reviews it got and the box office numbers it minted. Alia was last seen in Vasan Bala’s 2024 film Jigra, which failed to make a mark at the box office despite good reviews.
The couple will now star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War with Vicky Kaushal. They have begun shooting for the film which is slated for release on March 20, 2026. Ranbir will also star in Animal Park, followed by Ramayana with Sai Pallavi, Yash, and Sunny Deol. Alia will star in Alpha as part of the YRF spy universe. The film is slated for release this Christmas and also stars Sharvari.
