Actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have found themselves frequently subjected to scrutiny on social media, with some users criticizing Ranbir's conduct and labeling him as a "misogynist" and an "unsupportive husband." In a discreet yet significant gesture, Alia has chosen to defend her husband amidst the wave of criticism and misunderstandings directed at him.

Alia's Support for Ranbir  

In a notable expression of her support, Alia recently engaged with a social media post that advocated for her husband in light of the extensive online backlash he has encountered. 

The post stated, “It is amusing how envious individuals often label him as a red flag, womanizer, or mumma’s boy, yet Ranbir Kapoor has incorporated his wife and daughter’s initials into his brand’s name. If this is considered a red flag, then it surpasses many so-called green flags found online.”

Alia demonstrated her endorsement by liking the post on Instagram. A screenshot of this interaction has emerged on Reddit, where users have commended Alia for her show of support.

Earlier this month, Ranbir inaugurated his lifestyle store, ARKS, in Mumbai, with the brand name reflecting the initials of his wife, Alia and their daughter, Raha.

This instance is not the first occasion on which Alia has come to Ranbir's defense in the digital realm. Previously, a video circulated online depicting Ranbir appearing to overlook Alia Bhatt during the celebration of Raj Kapoor’s 100th birth anniversary. In response, Alia supported Ranbir by liking a video titled 'The Ranbir Kapoor they don’t post about.' This video, shared on a fan page, presented a different perspective on Ranbir's actions at the event, showcasing his affectionate demeanor towards Alia and his willingness to assist Randhir Kapoor, the father of Kareena Kapoor Khan. The footage emphasized his compassionate and kind nature.

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are currently under significant scrutiny on social media. Recently, Ranbir faced backlash after a video of Alia went viral, in which she mentioned that he had asked her to remove her lipstick. This led to accusations of him being toxic and misogynistic.

In response to the negative commentary, his sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni spoke in an interview, stating, “They have a deep affection for one another. They have brought into the world a truly beautiful child, Raha, who is incredibly adorable. They are wonderful parents, and I believe they are not particularly concerned with public opinion.” Ranbir and Alia were married in April 2022, and they welcomed their daughter, Raha in November 2022.
