In a recent exclusive interview, Akshay Oberoi discussed his experience working alongside Hrithik Roshan in the film Fighter.

Describing Hrithik as a significant influence in his life, Akshay remarked, "This is truly a dream come true. I often share the story of how I moved to India to pursue acting because of Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai. I felt a connection, thinking our eyes were similar, so I decided to take the leap. Hrithik has had a profound impact on my life, and I am immensely grateful to have collaborated with him on such a major project. He was incredibly supportive and took great care of me throughout the process. He is truly remarkable."

Fighter plot

The film Fighter centres on a team of distinguished fighter pilots who confront perilous missions and personal challenges in their quest to safeguard India from terrorist threats. Akshay Oberoi portrays Squadron Leader Basheer "Bash" Khan, while Anil Kapoor takes on the role of Captain Rakesh "Rocky" Jai Singh. Deepika Padukone plays Squadron Leader Minal "Minni" Rathore, and Hrithik Roshan is featured as Squadron Leader Shamsher "Patty" Pathania. The direction of the film is handled by Siddharth Anand.

Akshay Oberoi's work front

Akshay is currently engaged in multiple professional projects. His film, Kisko Tha Pata, is set to premiere on Zee Cinema on December 25. Additionally, he is involved in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, which features Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor. His South Indian film debut, Toxic, stars Yash, and he is also working on Two Zero One Four alongside Jackie Shroff, as well as a forthcoming psychological thriller that will begin production shortly.
