Akshay Kumar responds to criticism

In an interaction shared on the YouTube channel of Zee Music India, Akshay discussed his relationship with audience feedback. “The audience is the boss because they pay for the whole thing. When they applaud for me, it serves as motivation, and when they criticize, I have the chance to learn as well. My goal is always to enhance my work. If I receive honest feedback, I never overlook it. Whether it’s in script selections or role choices. There have been numerous occasions when people have mentioned, ‘Do something different’. Hence, I attempted to take on different movies as well. Criticism can sting at times, but if it is heartfelt, it only helps you improve,” the actor stated.

The actor also expressed his thoughts on his future in films and revealed what his greatest fear in life is. “Apart from falling from a helicopter, my greatest fear is waking up one day to find there are no messages. That day, I will feel my turn is over. I am no longer needed. I believe this is why I am reluctant to stop. I want to continue working. Life is short. I don’t want to rest and make my life smaller. I wish for it to be larger. I will rest when I am no longer in this world. In straightforward terms, I’ll keep working until I can no longer continue,” said Akshay.
