Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal are back together for the new horror-comedy, Bhooth Bangla. The two were spotted having a blast flying kites and celebrating Makar Sankranti while filming.

On Tuesday, Akshay Kumar hopped on Instagram to post a fun video of him and Paresh Rawal flying kites in celebration of Makar Sankranti. He wrote, “Embracing the lively essence of Makar Sankranti on the #BhoothBangla set with my good buddy @pareshrawalofficial! Cheers to laughter, positive vibes, and flying high like the kites! Wishing everyone a wonderful Pongal, Uttarayan, and Bihu!"

Akshay Kumar was looking sharp in a black hoodie and matching pants, while Paresh Rawal sported a white kurta-pyjama with a stylish black Nehru jacket. As Akshay was busy flying a kite, Paresh was right there helping him out.

Fans were feeling all the nostalgia seeing these two together. One comment said, “Babu Bhaiya and Raju in a parallel universe.” Another chimed in, “Can’t wait to see you both on screen again.” Someone else added, “Raju with Babu Bhaiya, the original duo.” A few fans even started asking for updates on their upcoming movie, Hera Pheri 3.

Bhooth Bangla Overview

Bhooth Bangla brings together Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan after a 14-year break since their last project, Khatta Meetha. This dynamic duo has given us classics like Garam Masala, Hera Pheri, Bhagam Bhag, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, and De Dana Dan.

This horror-comedy also features Paresh Rawal and is produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms, along with Akshay Kumar's own Cape of Good Films. Co-producers include Faara Sheikh and Vedant Baali. The film is set to hit theaters on April 2, 2026.
