Akshay Kumar reacts

Akshay addressed various concerns during the press conference for his forthcoming film, Kesari Chapter 2. He was questioned about his involvement in social and political cinema, particularly regarding whether criticism from within the industry affects him.

In his response, Akshay stated, "I don't believe anyone has criticized these films. Only someone foolish would do so. Just look at my work: I've created Pad Man, Airlift, Toilet Ek Prem Katha, Kesari, and now Kesari Chapter 2... I've produced many such films with great passion. If a film imparts knowledge or understanding to its audience, I don't think it has faced criticism."

At that moment, a journalist noted that Jaya had voiced her disapproval of the film, citing the word "toilet" in its title and mentioning that she had not seen it. In reply, Akshay remarked, “If she has expressed that opinion, then it must hold some truth. I am uncertain if making a film like Toilet Ek Prem Katha was a mistake, but if she believes it to be so, then it must be valid."

She promptly concluded, "The film is a flop."
