Actor Akshay Kumar commended the efforts of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in organizing the Mahakumbh Mela on Monday, following his holy dip at Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj. In a video released by the news agency PTI, Akshay expressed his appreciation for the 'excellent' arrangements made by the UP Police and the workers involved.

The actor noted that he had attended the Mahakumbh Mela in 2019 and observed significant enhancements in the arrangements this year. He remarked, "I had a wonderful experience; the arrangements are outstanding. I extend my heartfelt thanks to CM Yogi Adityanath for such excellent organization. I still remember during the last Kumbh in 2019, people used to arrive with bundles."
