Actor Akshay Kumar graced the HT India's Most Stylish Awards 2025 alongside his niece, Simar Bhatia. Numerous images and videos of their appearance surfaced on various social media platforms.

During the event, Akshay was seen holding Simar's hand as they descended the stairs. The pair shared smiles and posed for the photographers. For the occasion, Akshay donned a white shirt paired with a cream blazer and trousers, complemented by sunglasses and vibrant footwear. Simar chose a long dress and heels for her ensemble. This event marked one of the rare instances in which the two were seen together.

Akshay's recent shoutout to Simar

Simar is poised to make her debut in Bollywood with the film Ikkis this year. In January, Akshay shared a heartfelt post in her honor. On Instagram, he posted a photograph of a newspaper featuring Simar, who is the daughter of Akshay's sister, Alka.

In his post, Akshay reflected, "I recall the first time I saw my picture on a newspaper cover; I believed that was the pinnacle of joy. However, I now understand that the joy of seeing your child's picture in such a prominent place surpasses all. I wish my mother were here today; she would have said, ‘Simar puttar Tu tah Kamaal hai (Dear, Simar, you have done wonders).’ Bless you, my child; the sky is yours."

About Simar, her debut film

Ikkis, directed by Sriram Raghavan, is set to premiere in 2025. This forthcoming war drama is inspired by the life of Arun Khetarpal, the youngest recipient of the Param Vir Chakra. The cast includes Dharmendra, Agastya Nanda, and Sikandar Kher, with production handled by Dinesh Vijan through Maddock Films.

Regarding Akshay's projects, he was recently featured in Sky Force, directed by Abhishek Anil Kapur and Sandeep Kewlani, which also stars Sara Ali Khan, Nimrat Kaur, and Veer Pahariya.

Audiences can anticipate Akshay's performance in Bhooth Bangla, directed by Priyadarshan, alongside Tabu and Paresh Rawal. This film is slated for release on April 2, 2026, with Wamiqa Gabbi reportedly in a key role.

Additionally, Akshay is working on Kesari Chapter 2 - The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh, which features R Madhavan and Ananya Panday. This film, centered on the life of prominent Indian barrister C Sankaran Nair, is scheduled to be released on April 18, 2025, under the direction of Karan Singh Tyagi.
