On Tuesday, Suresh Chandra, Ajith's publicist, utilized X to disseminate an official statement, accompanied by the caption: "From The Desk of AK." The statement expressed, “Recently, I have been troubled by a particular issue, specifically the slogan 'K....', 'Ajithey', which has been publicly proclaimed at numerous events and gatherings. I find it unsettling to have superlatives or any prefixes associated with my name. I would rather be referred to simply by my name or initials.”

‘My sincere request to everyone is…’

The statement further emphasized the importance of ceasing the practice of chanting slogans in public spaces immediately. It urged individuals to refrain from such actions in the future. The appeal was made for everyone to focus on diligent work and recreation without causing harm to others, to care for their families, and to adhere to the law. The message concluded with a call for a harmonious coexistence.

For those unfamiliar, the slogan gained popularity following a viral interview featuring the same chant. In the subsequent days, it was widely adopted by many in Tamil Nadu, who began using it in public settings. The term "Kadavule" translates to "God" in Tamil.

Ajith was last featured in the 2023 film Thunivu. He is set to appear next in Vidaamuyarchi, directed by Magizh Thirumeni, alongside co-stars Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, Arav, and Regina Cassandra. Additionally, he will be part of Adhik Ravichandran’s Good Bad Ugly, sharing the screen with Trisha, Prasanna, and Sunil.
