Actor Ajith has denounced the Pahalgam terrorist attack and has extended prayers for the victims' families. In an interview with news agency ANI, Ajith conveyed his wish that such events would not happen again. He also encouraged individuals to develop empathy towards one another. The attack led to the fatalities of 26 individuals, predominantly tourists, in the picturesque Baisaran Valley located in the Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Ajith wishes that such events do not occur. He stated, "My thoughts are with all the families, and I hope and pray that such incidents do not take place. I believe the government is doing everything possible. Let's just remain hopeful and pray that, over time, we all learn to empathize with each other and set aside our differences to live as a harmonious community. "
Ajith pays tribute to the military
The actor similarly honored the courage and sacrifices of the military, who labor diligently to defend the country. "I encountered many individuals from the military today (Monday). I want to convey to them all that we honor them for their sacrifices. They put in great effort so that we can rest peacefully. My thoughts are with them, and I wish them and their families a wonderful life. They are working so hard to protect our borders, and I believe that at the very least, in their honor, we should, within our nation, learn to honor one another and respect every religion, every community, and let us refrain from fighting at least among ourselves in India. Let us unite as one peaceful society," Ajith added.
Details on the Pahalgam attack by terrorists
The assault in Pahalgam occurred on April 22 at Baisaran meadow, during which terrorists aimed at tourists, resulting in the deaths of 25 Indian nationals and one Nepalese citizen, and injuring several others. This incident marked one of the most lethal attacks in the area since the 2019 Pulwama incident, which resulted in the deaths of 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) members.
