Bollywood star Ajay Devgn is turning 58 today, April 2. Along with his wife Kajol, director Rohit Shetty also took to social media to share a heartfelt birthday message for the actor. He joined in on the Ghibli-style trend and posted some cute AI edits featuring the two of them.

On Tuesday, Rohit took to Instagram to post a Ghibli-inspired birthday tribute for his “big brother” Ajay. He shared some AI-generated images featuring the two of them. In one shot, he was seen with a camera while Ajay was taking down a goon. In another, they were both behind the camera, watching the action unfold. The last image of them sharing a hug was absolutely heartwarming.
Fans were all over the images, calling the pair their “favorite duo.” One person commented, “Last one (heart emoji).” Another chimed in, “This is amazing. Keep those evil eyes away from you both.” A third fan noted, “The last pic gives me Thompson and Thompson vibes from the Tintin cartoon (heart emoji).” Someone else added, “It’s just so beautiful.”
Ajay's wife, actress Kajol, also posted a fun birthday message for him on Instagram, saying, “All the cool people are born in August, but we’re happy to wish you a happy birthday ;) …. Thanks for always being older than me.”

Ajay is set to appear next in the crime thriller Raid 2, which is directed by Raj Kumar Gupta. The movie features Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Suniel Shetty, and Vaani Kapoor in key roles. As a sequel to the 2018 film Raid, it continues the story of IRS officer Amay Patnaik as he delves into another case of white-collar crime. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on May 16, 2025.
