A few days ago there were reports that filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj might team up with Shah Rukh Khan for Vijay's GOAT. Now, recent reports reveal that Aamir Khan is reportedly in talks with the director for his next film. The report also reveals that Mr. Perfectionist is eager to team up with the director for the film which will be a pan-India project. 

Will Aamir Khan collaborate with Lokesh Kanagaraj?

A Telugu portal named Aakashavaani shared this big news on their social media account on Sunday which created a lot of buzz around the internet. On their official X account, their post read “BIG BREAKING - A Mindblowing Combo!! #AamirKhan, #LokeshKanagaraj and #MythriMovies are teaming up for a PAN India film soon. According to our very reliable sources, the project is CONFIRMED.”

If Aamir Khan, Lokesh Kanagaraj, and Mythri Movies come together for this project, it will bring three industries together for this Pan-India project including Bollywood, Tollywood, and Kollywood. However, no official confirmation about the same has been made yet. 

After the massive failure of Laal Singh Chaddha, Aamir Khan took a break from movies. The film also starred Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh, and Naga Chaitanya, among others. He then announced Sitaare Zameen Par, which is a remake of the Spanish sports comedy Campeones. The film is directed by RS Prasanna and also stars Genelia D'Souza and will center around Down Syndrome. It is slated to release on Christmas Day. 

If Aamir and Lokesh's collaboration happens, this could be his big Bollywood comeback like Shah Rukh Khan did with Pathaan after he also took a long break post Zero's failure. Lokesh Kanagaraj is known for delivering blockbusters like Master, Vikram, and Kaithi, among others. It will be interesting to see their collaboration on the big screens which might lead to another box office record.
