After Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan Temporarily Relocates as Pali Hill Home Undergoes Redevelopment

Just days after Shah Rukh Khan left his famous home Mannat in Mumbai for renovations, Aamir Khan is also looking to move from his Pali Hill residence since the building is about to be redeveloped. Reports from HT indicate that Man Infraconstruction Limited (MICL), a real estate developer, is gearing up to kick off an ultra-luxury project in Bandra's Pali Hill area by the end of this year. This project is part of the redevelopment of the Virgo Cooperative Housing Society, where Aamir resides and owns several apartments.

The Lagaan star, who has around 12 apartments in the building, will get a unit in the rehab section of the project, just like the other current residents. Aamir also picked up a new place in Pali Hill, which is 1,027 sq ft and cost him over ₹9 crore. The transfer deed was wrapped up in June 2024, with a stamp duty of ₹58.5 lakh and a registration fee of ₹30,000, as per property registration docs from Square Yards.
'The project is still waiting for approval, and we're collaborating with our partners on the paperwork with the society. Our goal is to kick off the project in December 2025,' said Manan Shah, Managing Director of MICL. Manan also mentioned that the luxury apartments in their Pali Hill redevelopment, which includes Aamir Khan’s housing complex, are likely to be priced over ₹1 lakh per sq ft.

Shah Rukh Khan and his family have moved into four floors of the Puja Casa building in Pali Hill, Bandra. He’s renting these floors from film producer Vashu Bhagnani. His company, Red Chillies Entertainment, has signed a leave and license deal with Bhagnani’s son, Jackky, and daughter, Deepshika, who co-own the property. Sources mention that renovations at Mannat were set to kick off in May, which includes a long-planned extension of the bungalow that required court approval. Since Mannat is a Grade III heritage site, any structural changes can only happen after getting the necessary permissions.
