It was just yesterday when it was announced that Kiran Rao's Laapataa Ladies was picked up as India's official entry to Oscars 2025. While the country was celebrating the news, now another Hindi film has made it to the upcoming 97th Academy Awards and it is Randeep Hooda's Swatantrya Veer Savarkar. The film brilliantly explores the life of freedom fighter Vinayak Damodhar Savarkar with Hooda's impressive performance.

Today, on September 24, Randeep Hooda, along with the producer of the film Sandip Singh announced the big news on their social media account. Sharing the poster of Swatantrya Veer Savarkar, they revealed that the film was officially submitted for the Oscars
