More about Allu Arjun's case
The police allowed him to finish his coffee before proceeding to take him into custody. Arjun informed the officers, “We can proceed now, sir; I have finished my coffee.” When the police mentioned that they had been accommodating his requests, he responded, “Sir, you have not honoured any of my requests. I asked to change my clothes and to have one person accompany me. While you are justified in taking me in, it is excessive to come to my bedroom. That is inappropriate.”
The footage also showed Aravind attempting to accompany Arjun in the police vehicle, but both the actor and the police declined this arrangement. Arjun insisted that Allu Aravind exit the vehicle after he attempted to enter, stating, “I alone should receive any credit that arises from this situation, whether it is positive or negative.”
Officers have stated that the police were not informed in advance about the arrival of the film's team for the premiere. On December 13, the actor was apprehended by a team from the Chikkadpally police station, where the case was officially filed. The actor is scheduled to appear before a magistrate.
Akshansh Yadav, the Deputy Commissioner of Police for the Central Zone of Hyderabad, informed the Indian Express, "An investigation is currently underway. Strict legal action will be taken against all individuals accountable for the disorder within the theatre that resulted in one fatality and injuries to others."
