Baba Siddiqui's murder has shocked the nation. Post the incident, the security for Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has been increased as the Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi gang has issued death threats to the actor for hunting and killing two blackbucks in Rajasthan. The incident took place while the actor was shooting for the film, Hum Saath Saath Hain. As the Bishnoi community considers the animals sacred, they have been behind Khan's life. Amid these threats, Vivek Oberoi's old speech praising the Bishnoi community has now resurfaced online.

In an old video, actor Vivek Oberoi is praising the Bishnoi community for their beliefs and rituals. He said, “In every household, including mine, we feed cow’s milk to kids. There’s only one community in the whole world – the Bishnoi community – where if a fawn’s mother dies, the Bishnoi mothers take it in their laps and feed them milk like they feed their kids. You won’t find this anywhere else in the world.”

Meanwhile, senior NCP leader and former Maharashtra minister, Baba Siddique was shot dead in Mumbai Bandra on Saturday while he was leaving his son, Zeeshan Siddiqui's office. Following the assassination, a Bishnoi gang member shared a post on Facebook where they mentioned that they were behind this shocking incident. In their post, they also wrote in Hindi, "We have no enmity with anyone, but whoever helps Salman Khan and the Dawood gang should be prepared to settle their accounts."

Amid these threats, Salman Khan's security has been elevated to the Y+ category and a police escort vehicle will accompany him whenever he goes out. Along with this, a trained constable, who is proficient with various weapons will accompany him. Security around his house has also been tightened with instructions to bystanders and media to not click or record any videos.
