Arijit Singh’s protest song Ar Kobe has literally been the spirit of the protest in Kolkata in the wake of the heinous rape and murder incident at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. The musician was praised by the common people of Bengal for his timely song. Even after nearly a month, the song was the anthem of the movement on the street. Meanwhile, Arijit Singh recently collaborated with Ed Sheeran in a concert in London. 

Arijit shared some of the photos of the concert on social media and thanked London for showing love and standing by his side. He expressed his love and gratitude. His fans showered love on the photos. 

Previously, Ed Sheeran performed with Diljit Dosanjh at a program in Mumbai. He came to India this March as a part of his Asia-Europe tour, in 2024. Then he teamed up with Diljit Dosanjh. Now he teamed up with Arijit Singh. 

Arijit announced his sickness on August 2 and canceled all concerts. He shared a post on social media, ‘I feel sad to tell you that all my August shows have to be postponed due to my illness. I know you wait eagerly for those shows. I apologize from the bottom of my heart. Your love and support are my strength. Let us turn this pause into a promise where our meeting will be more magical.’
