Aditya Roy Kapur is teaming up again with his Ludo director, Anurag Basu. They’ve been collaborating on the sequel to Life In A Metro, titled Metro... In Dino. In a recent chat, Aditya opened up about why he didn’t hesitate to work with Anurag Basu again. Here’s what he shared....

Teaming up with him on Ludo was such a fantastic experience, and I was really taken aback by his approach. So when this chance popped up, I jumped at it without hesitating, the actor told the media.

A few years ago, Anurag Basu and Ranbir Kapoor brought something special to the screen with Barfi! Audiences absolutely adored the film, which made everyone eager to see them team up again. But fate had other plans. After Barfi, they collaborated on Jagga Jasoos, which faced a ton of issues. The project was delayed multiple times, and on top of that, the high-profile relationship between Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif ended while they were filming. Despite the personal drama, they both kept it professional and pushed through to finish and promote the movie. Sadly, it didn’t do well at the box office and ended up being a flop. That seemed to mark the end of their partnership. Fingers crossed that history doesn’t repeat itself, and so far, it looks promising with Metro... In Dino.

Is Aditya Roy Kapur teaming up with Shraddha Kapoor once more?

There's a lot of buzz going around that Aditya and Shraddha Kapoor could be teaming up again. They had a similar experience to Basu-Kapoor with their film Ok Jaanu. After the hit Aashiqui 2, they attempted to capture that same spark in Ok Jaanu, and while their chemistry was still celebrated, the film didn't do well financially. So, will we see Aditya and Shraddha join forces on another project? That's still up in the air.
