Adi Irani on life after Baazigar

Released in 1993, this film marked a significant turning point in the actor's career. Irani shared, “My first daughter was born in 1995, and during that time, the price of milk was ₹5, which I sometimes struggled to afford. Each day, I ventured into the city to seek job opportunities and roles, relying on a scooter borrowed from a friend. There were instances when I lacked the funds to refuel it, forcing me to walk to the bus stop on days when I couldn’t pay for petrol. People would inquire about my presence at the bus stop, and I would fabricate a story, claiming I was merely waiting for a friend. They would question why I needed to take a bus, and I would discreetly make my way home."
