Abhishek Bachchan recently made an appearance on Riteish Deshmukh's comedy program, Case Toh Banta Hai. However, an unforeseen incident occurred that left the audience astonished when the actor expressed his displeasure and exited the show after a comedian made a jest about his father, Amitabh Bachchan. It is worth noting that the actor was also participating in the humour.
The event unfolded when comedian Paritosh Tripathi introduced himself as a troll who targets public figures. During his segment, he made a quip regarding Amitabh Bachchan's notably long arms. Abhishek Bachchan feigned offence at this remark, subsequently requesting the comedian to cease his performance and addressing him directly about the joke concerning his father.
Abhishek Bachchan gets angry with the comedian
Abhishek remarked in Hindi, "I appreciate humour, but let us refrain from involving parents in it. The focus should remain on me, not my father. He is my father, and it feels inappropriate. This is why I emphasize the need for respect. Comedy should not overstep this boundary; we often go too far these days." When the director of the show attempted to calm him, the actor responded, "Allow me to express my thoughts—I am not naive."
He subsequently exited the show midway, after which Riteish Deshmukh and Paritosh were observed discussing the incident. The comedian clarified that his intention was not to offend the actor. However, Abhishek soon returned to the set, revealing that it had all been a prank. He embraced the comedian and stated, "In this game of trolling, I am in charge. This is how it is done!" This revelation elicited laughter from everyone present.
